About
Gene Lopez is the Director of Development and Training at Seidner’s Collision Centers, where Gene develops procedures, processes, environmental compliance programs, and collision repair training programs.
Gene has worked in the Collision Repair Industry for 29 years. He began his career with A. D’Angelo & Sons in 1992, in 1998 he began working for Seidner’s Collision Centers. In 2009 Gene was asked to join the I-CAR Field Operations team where he was Regional and National Field Operations Manager for seven years. In May 2016 Gene returned to work for Seidner’s Collision Centers.
Gene is currently on the National Auto Body Council (NABC) Board of Directors and a former Chairman of the NABC Distracted Driver Initiative, he also has attended CIC since 1994 where he Co-Chaired the Education & Training Committee for 16 years, and he Chairs the Education Committee for the California Autobody Association (CAA). He is the recipient of the 1999 Tom Babcox Memorial Scholarship, the 2010 CAA Member of the Year, He holds the Automotive Management Institute’s Accredited Master Automotive Manager designation and is a life-long learner.
Gene lives in Glendora, CA with his wife Kristin, daughters Catalina and Carly. He has two sons, Anthony & Allyn, and three beautiful grandchildren: Anthony, Abel & Ariana. He enjoys cigars, a good glass of whiskey, a game of golf and is a Triathlete having complete several ½ Ironman events and looks forward to his first full Ironman, a 2.5-mile swim, 112-mile ride and 26.2-mile run.
